CUSTOMER CONCERN Check Charging System, IMA, and brake warning lamps are on; the hybrid battery does not charge and hard DTC P1437 will not clear. CAUSE Confirmed failed high-voltage battery after the IMA motor power-cable and stator continuity checks were completed. CORRECTION Remove and replace the high-voltage battery, clear DTC P1437, and verify IMA and hybrid-battery charging operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Engine will not start after rebuilt-engine installation and DTCs P0C17 and P1C76 are stored. CAUSE Drive-motor and generator resolver positions were not learned after engine installation. CORRECTION Perform the resolver position sensor calibration with a compatible scan tool according to bulletin 11-HC-001, clear DTCs P0C17 and P1C76, and verify the engine starts and hybrid system operates normally.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Clicking or thudding noise remains in the steering column after the recall repair. CAUSE The flexible rubber coupling in the motor-driven power-steering assembly was worn and deteriorated. CORRECTION Lower the steering column as required, remove and replace the steering flexible coupling, clean out coupling debris, and verify quiet steering operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Air conditioning is inoperative, the recirculation indicator does not illuminate, and HVAC DTC B2992 indicates an open thermal-protector circuit. CAUSE The A/C compressor thermal-protection circuit was open; bypass testing of the red and blue compressor wires restored the A/C switch and clutch data response. CORRECTION Disable the high-voltage system, remove and replace the failed A/C compressor assembly, clear DTC B2992, and verify A/C and recirculation-indi

CUSTOMER CONCERN Steering wheel is locked and cannot be turned more than a few degrees in either direction. CAUSE The steering column moved normally when disconnected, but the wheels remained locked through the rack with the tie rods isolated, confirming a seized steering gear assembly. CORRECTION Remove and replace the seized steering gear assembly and verify full steering travel and normal steering operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Hybrid system will not crank the engine after engine replacement; no DTCs are stored and the immobilizer indicates RUN. CAUSE High-voltage battery cell-data PIDs measured below 50 volts, preventing the hybrid system from cranking the engine. CORRECTION Remove and replace the high-voltage battery, perform the system code clear, and verify the engine starts and the hybrid system operates normally.

CUSTOMER CONCERN ABS, traction-control, and parking-brake warning lamps remain on after body repairs; DTC U300A:29 is stored in the ABS module and U0415 is stored in the PSCM. CAUSE Rodent damage opened the wiring at connector C192 near the left-front strut tower, interrupting keyed power to the ABS module on the white/orange circuit. CORRECTION Repair the damaged connector C192 wiring, restore the white/orange ABS power circuit, clear DTCs U300A:29 and U0415, and verify ABS,

CUSTOMER CONCERN After brake-booster replacement, the ABS module stores hard DTCs C0022 and C1018. CAUSE Confirmed fault in the brake booster vacuum sensor wiring disturbed during booster replacement. CORRECTION Repair the brake booster vacuum sensor wiring, perform the ABS multicalibration routine, clear DTCs C0022 and C1018, and verify brake-system operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN After cabin-filter replacement, the interior lamps stay on, the check-engine light is illuminated with DTC P0463, and the message center reports all doors open. CAUSE BCM connector C2280F was not fully seated after the cabin-filter service. CORRECTION Reseat and secure BCM connector C2280F, clear DTC P0463, and verify the interior lamps, door-ajar indications, and engine warning light operate normally.

CUSTOMER CONCERN A section of instrument-cluster lamps is inoperative and the cluster stores hard DTC U3000:54 along with multiple unrelated body-system codes. CAUSE Confirmed failed instrument cluster. CORRECTION Remove and replace the instrument cluster, program and configure it to the vehicle, clear DTC U3000:54, and verify all cluster lamps and monitored systems operate normally.
