CUSTOMER CONCERN The electric parking brake is stuck on or will not apply, with a parking-brake motor circuit fault. CAUSE The confirmed repair found the parking-brake motor connector terminals reversed, causing the motor to run in the wrong direction. CORRECTION Correct the parking-brake motor connector terminal positions, clear the parking-brake fault, and verify normal apply and release operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN After right-front collision repairs and replacement of the right-front air spring, height sensor, and compressor, DTCs C1124:54 and B1041:52 return because the height-sensor calibration will not remain stored. CAUSE The confirmed repair identified a failed Air Suspension Control Module A (SUMA) that could not retain the height-sensor calibration after its power and ground circuits tested correctly. CUSTOMER CONCERN The tire-pressure warning system stores DTC C2126 because a transmitter ID is not received in main mode after sensor replacement. CAUSE The confirmed repair identified a failed replacement TPMS sensor and an incomplete transmitter-ID registration. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed TPMS sensor, register all tire-pressure sensor IDs with the scan tool, perform system initialization, clear DTC C2126, and verify all tire pressures display correctly.

CUSTOMER CONCERN After front-end collision repairs and replacement of the front bumper sensors, the parking-assist system stores DTCs C1AEC and C1AEE. CAUSE The replacement ultrasonic parking sensors had not completed detection-angle calibration and registration after the collision repair. CORRECTION Perform the ultrasonic sensor detection-angle procedures and intelligent-clearance sonar registration, clear DTCs C1AEC and C1AEE, and verify parking-assist operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle stalled while driving, required towing, and had a depleted high-voltage battery with DTCs P261A13, C1259, and C1A50. CAUSE The confirmed repair identified a failed 12-volt auxiliary battery as the cause of the stall and related hybrid-system faults. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed 12-volt auxiliary battery, clear DTCs P261A13, C1259, and C1A50, and verify Ready mode, charging, and normal vehicle operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The check-engine light is on with DTC P012800 indicating that engine coolant temperature remains below the thermostat's specified operating range. CAUSE The engine coolant thermostat failed and did not regulate coolant temperature to the specified range. CORRECTION Remove and replace the engine coolant thermostat, clear DTC P012800, and verify coolant temperature reaches and maintains the specified operating range.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The air conditioning is inoperative and DTC B14AC returns even after replacement of the heat-pump ECU. CAUSE The No. 2 high-pressure magnetic-valve circuit had a broken wire behind the front bumper. CORRECTION Repair the broken No. 2 high-pressure magnetic-valve wire behind the bumper, clear DTC B14AC, and verify normal heat-pump air-conditioning operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The rear of the vehicle sits low and the air-suspension system cannot restore normal ride height. CAUSE The rear air-spring compressor failed and could not supply the suspension system correctly. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed rear air-spring compressor, then verify the rear suspension raises, lowers, and maintains normal ride height.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The check-engine light is on and fault 21B000 is stored for the fuel-tank pressure-sensor communication circuit. CAUSE The fuel-tank pressure sensor failed and stopped communicating on its Local Interconnect Network circuit. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed fuel-tank pressure sensor, clear fault 21B000, and verify pressure-sensor communication and emissions-system operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The check-engine light remains on with fault 106004 after the fuel-tank vent valve was replaced. CAUSE Raw fuel contaminated the evaporative-emissions charcoal canister after the range-extender fuel tank was overfilled. CORRECTION Remove and replace the fuel-vapor charcoal canister, clear fault 106004, and verify the check-engine light remains off.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The high-voltage battery warning is illuminated and the energy-management module stores fault 8526361 / B1802 F1 [008]. CAUSE The high-voltage battery was confirmed failed, triggering the battery warning and stored energy-management fault. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed high-voltage battery assembly, clear fault 8526361 / B1802 F1 [008], and verify the high-voltage warning remains off and the hybrid system operates normally.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Wall charging is inoperative, the cooling fan and charge-port light ring do not operate when plugged in, and DTC P0C2A resets immediately after clearing. CAUSE The transmission-fluid auxiliary-pump circuits passed testing, confirming an internal pump failure. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed transmission-fluid auxiliary pump.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The malfunction indicator lamp is on with DTC P0401 for insufficient EGR flow. CAUSE The EGR cooler was restricted and could not provide the commanded exhaust-gas flow. CORRECTION Remove and replace the restricted EGR cooler.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle will not start after engine replacement and stores high-voltage interlock DTCs 21F0DF and 21F28A. CAUSE A required high-voltage interlock switch was missing, leaving the safety interlock loop open. CORRECTION Install the missing high-voltage interlock switch, clear DTCs 21F0DF and 21F28A, and verify interlock-loop integrity and normal vehicle startup.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Steering wheel is locked and cannot be turned more than a few degrees in either direction. CAUSE The steering column moved normally when disconnected, but the wheels remained locked through the rack with the tie rods isolated, confirming a seized steering gear assembly. CORRECTION Remove and replace the seized steering gear assembly and verify full steering travel and normal steering operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Engine runs rough for several seconds on the first cold start, coolant level drops over time, and the PCM stores DTCs P0302 and P0316. CAUSE Confirmed failed cylinder head gasket allowing coolant intrusion into a cylinder during cool-down. CORRECTION Remove the cylinder head, replace the failed head gasket, refill and bleed the cooling system, clear DTCs P0302 and P0316, and verify cold-start operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Cabin heater blows cold when heat is selected. CAUSE The G36 auxiliary heater coolant pump did not run although its power, ground, light green/gray terminal 1 command circuit, and violet/yellow terminal 3 duty-cycle circuit tested correctly. CORRECTION Remove and replace the G36 auxiliary heater coolant pump and verify cabin heat operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Service High Voltage Charging System message is displayed with DTC P1FFF. CAUSE Confirmed failed hybrid battery coolant level sensor. CORRECTION Remove and replace the hybrid battery coolant level sensor, clear DTC P1FFF, and verify the high-voltage charging system operates normally.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Cabin heater blows cold unless the gasoline engine is running. CAUSE The front electric auxiliary heater coolant pump would not operate when commanded. CORRECTION Remove and replace the auxiliary heater coolant pump and verify cabin heat in electric mode.

CUSTOMER CONCERN StabiliTrak warning is on with Electronic Brake Control Module DTC C0287. CAUSE Confirmed failed B119 multi-axis acceleration sensor after power, ground, and chassis expansion bus checks. CORRECTION Remove and replace the B119 multi-axis acceleration sensor, perform the vehicle yaw sensor learn, clear DTC C0287, and verify stability-control operation.
