CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle will not charge and stores DTCs C1109, C118C-6, U1000, B142A, B2193, P0A1B, P0A8D, P3247, U1027-16, U1027, B2891, U0142-16, and P2891-19. CAUSE The confirmed repair identified failures in the EV charging-port plug and the Power Delivery Module. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed EV charging-port plug and Power Delivery Module, clear the stored DTCs, and verify normal charging operation.
2017 Chevrolet Bolt EV LT – Will Not Move or Charge After Collision Repair
CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle will not move or charge, and the instrument-panel charge indicator remains solid yellow after minor front-end body repair. CAUSE A secured high-voltage crash-related DTC lockout remained active after the collision repairs, preventing propulsion and charging. CUSTOMER CONCERN The brake master-cylinder assembly is leaking. CAUSE The brake master-cylinder assembly had an external hydraulic leak. CORRECTION Remove and replace the leaking brake master cylinder, bleed the brake system, and perform the required stroke-sensor zero-point relearn.
2015 Nissan LEAF S – Brake Motor Power DTC C1A61-01
CUSTOMER CONCERN The electric brake system stores DTC C1A61-01 for the brake-motor power supply. CAUSE A warped retaining tab at the battery fusible-link connector allowed the brake-motor power circuit to lose contact. CORRECTION Repair and reshape the damaged connector retaining tab at the battery fusible-link assembly, clear DTC C1A61-01, and verify brake-system operation.
2014 BMW i3 – IHKA Heating and Air Conditioning Inoperative
CUSTOMER CONCERN The IHKA heating and air-conditioning system is inoperative and multiple IHKA faults are stored. CAUSE The heat-pump control module failed after the related sensor, shutoff-valve, and wiring checks. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed heat-pump control module, then program and code the replacement module to the vehicle.
2013 Nissan LEAF SV – Low Cabin Heat With P277300 and P277400
CUSTOMER CONCERN Cabin heat output is very low with DTCs P277300 and P277400 stored. CAUSE The PTC heater assembly had an internal open circuit; supporting checks use connector M87 terminals 6-to-7 and 8-to-9. CORRECTION Disable the high-voltage system, remove and replace the PTC heater assembly, clear DTCs P277300 and P277400, and verify normal cabin heat output.
2015 Nissan LEAF SV – No READY Mode After Collision
CUSTOMER CONCERN After collision and airbag repairs, the vehicle will not enter READY mode or accept a charge, and the master and VDC warning lamps remain on. CAUSE The collision power-cutoff function remained active in the Vehicle Control Module after airbag deployment; DTC P3137 disables the system main relay until the shutdown record is cleared. CORRECTION Remove and replace electric water pump No. 1, refill and bleed the cooling system, clear DTC P31E9, and verify pump and cooling-system operation.
2014 Nissan LEAF S – Second Intelligent Key Will Not Program
CUSTOMER CONCERN A second intelligent key will not register even though the original key starts the vehicle normally. CAUSE The initial scan tool could not complete the immobilizer registration routine; the vehicle accepted programming with a capable scan tool. CORRECTION Perform intelligent-key and immobilizer registration with a compatible scan tool and verify both keys start the vehicle.
2012 Nissan LEAF SV – 12-Volt Battery Discharges While Driving
CUSTOMER CONCERN The 12-volt battery discharges while driving and the vehicle shuts down when system voltage falls to 10.9 volts. CAUSE Voltage testing found 15.0 volts at the DC/DC converter output stud but only 12.1 volts at the E202 terminal and battery because corrosion at the exposed output-stud connection created excessive resistance. CUSTOMER CONCERN Power windows are inoperative. CAUSE Inspection found a heat-damaged terminal at the power-window master-switch connector, preventing the switch from operating the windows. CORRECTION Remove and replace the power-window master switch after confirming the melted connector terminal.
2011 Nissan LEAF SV – Will Not Run or Charge With P0AA6
CUSTOMER CONCERN Vehicle will not operate or charge and stores DTC P0AA6. CAUSE High-voltage isolation testing measured 90 volts between the positive battery terminal and battery case. Isolating the module stacks identified battery module 37 shorted from its positive side to its casing. CORRECTION Remove and replace failed high-voltage battery module 37, reassemble the battery pack, clear DTC P0AA6, and verify vehicle operation and charging.
