2006 Ford Escape Hybrid – Stop Safely Warning While Driving
CUSTOMER CONCERN The Stop Safely warning appeared while driving, with DTCs P0A27 and P1A10 stored even though the fault could not be duplicated in the shop. CAUSE The confirmed fault was in the high-voltage traction-battery internal harness and its calibration. CORRECTION A jumper harness was installed inside the high-voltage battery assembly and the battery control calibration was updated.
2006 Honda Accord Hybrid – VSA Light With Code 84-1
CUSTOMER CONCERN The Vehicle Stability Assist warning light was on and the traction-control system stored code 84-1. CAUSE The VSA pressure-sensor neutral position had not been correctly memorized. CORRECTION The VSA pressure-sensor neutral-position memorization procedure was completed.
2006 Lexus RX400h – No Start With P0351
CUSTOMER CONCERN The engine would not start and DTC P0351 returned immediately after being cleared. CAUSE The ignition-coil control circuit wiring was faulty. CORRECTION The damaged ignition-coil wiring was repaired.
2005 Ford Escape Hybrid – Check Engine Light With P0128
CUSTOMER CONCERN The check-engine light was on with DTC P0128. CAUSE The engine coolant thermostat was not regulating coolant temperature correctly, so the engine did not reach the expected temperature. CORRECTION The engine coolant thermostat was replaced.
2006 Lexus RX400h – Starts Then Dies With Timing Codes
CUSTOMER CONCERN The engine became noisy, stalled, and would run only briefly while storing P0016, P0018, P3190, P3191, P3193 and P0A0F. CAUSE The valve timing was incorrect because the timing belt was misaligned. CORRECTION The timing belt was correctly aligned and engine timing was restored.
2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid – Check Engine Light With P0128
CUSTOMER CONCERN The check-engine light was on with DTC P0128. CAUSE The engine coolant thermostat was not maintaining the expected regulating temperature. CORRECTION The engine coolant thermostat was replaced.
2015 Toyota Prius – Left Rear Door Lock Not Working
CUSTOMER CONCERN The left rear power door lock did not operate normally, even though the lock actuator worked when powered directly. CAUSE Testing confirmed that the shared body-control circuit still operated the other locks, isolating the failure to the dash fuse box. CORRECTION The dash fuse box was replaced, restoring normal door-lock operation.
2018 Toyota Prius – Active Grille Shutter Not Working
CUSTOMER CONCERN The active grille shutter remained inoperative after collision repairs and did not respond to commanded operation. CAUSE The collision had physically damaged the active grille-shutter actuator. DTC P05B131 was present. CORRECTION The damaged active grille-shutter actuator was replaced.
2006 Lexus RX400h – ABS, Brake and TRAC Lights On
CUSTOMER CONCERN The ABS, BRAKE and TRAC warning lights were on with DTCs C1241, C1256 and C1391. CAUSE Accumulator-pressure data confirmed an internal brake actuator fault. CORRECTION The ABS brake actuator assembly was replaced.
