CUSTOMER CONCERN

Hybrid system will not crank the engine after engine replacement; no DTCs are stored and the immobilizer indicates RUN.

CAUSE

High-voltage battery cell-data PIDs measured below 50 volts, preventing the hybrid system from cranking the engine.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the high-voltage battery, perform the system code clear, and verify the engine starts and the hybrid system operates normally.
