2012 GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid – No Crank With P0BBD
CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle has a no-crank, no-start condition with a Service Hybrid System message and DTC P0BBD after an earlier stall. CAUSE The BECM reported insufficient drive-motor battery voltage, and the confirmed repair identified the high-voltage battery assembly as failed. CORRECTION Remove and replace the drive-motor high-voltage battery assembly, clear DTC P0BBD, and verify starting and hybrid-system operation.
2012 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid – No Crank and Dark Instrument Cluster
CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle will not crank, the instrument cluster remains dark, and DTCs U0155 and P1260 are stored. CAUSE Cluster power, ground, and high-speed CAN circuits were intact, confirming an internal instrument-cluster failure that disabled the PATS start authorization. CORRECTION Remove and replace the instrument cluster, clear U0155 and P1260, and verify cluster communication and starting operation.
2012 GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid – No Power Steering With C056E-4B
CUSTOMER CONCERN Power-steering assist is unavailable and the PSCM stores DTC C056E-4B. CAUSE The confirmed repair identified an invalid Power Steering Control Module calibration rather than a failed steering motor or power circuit. CORRECTION Calibrate the Power Steering Control Module and perform the steering position and torque-sensor calibration, then clear C056E-4B and verify steering assist.
2010 GMC Yukon Hybrid – Repeat Engine Oil Leak
CUSTOMER CONCERN The engine has a repeat oil leak, the dipstick is pushed out of its tube, and moisture is present in the fresh-air tube. CAUSE Inspection confirmed a leaking valley-pan gasket and an oil-pressure-sensor leak rather than an isolated rear-main-seal failure. CORRECTION Remove and replace the valley-pan gasket and leaking oil-pressure sensor, clean the crankcase-ventilation passages, and verify the oil leak is eliminated.
2010 Cadillac Escalade Hybrid – No Crank With U1888
CUSTOMER CONCERN The engine will not crank and DTC U1888 is stored. CAUSE Corrosion inside the underhood auxiliary fuse block caused a low-voltage feed at terminal J1, preventing BECM and serial-data-gateway communication. CORRECTION Remove and replace the auxiliary fuse block, clear DTC U1888, and verify module communication and starting operation.
2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid – No Crank After Engine Replacement
CUSTOMER CONCERN The engine will not crank after engine replacement and DTCs P1B06, P1B05, and P1AE2 are stored. CAUSE Inspection confirmed the high-voltage battery disconnect lever was broken during the disconnect procedure, leaving the interlock circuit open. CORRECTION Remove and replace the high-voltage battery disconnect lever, fully seat the interlock components, clear the DTCs, and verify the engine cranks.
2013 Buick Regal – ABS Light With C0035 06
CUSTOMER CONCERN The ABS warning is active and the EBCM stores DTC C0035 06 for the left-front wheel-speed-sensor circuit. CAUSE Circuit testing confirmed an open or low-voltage fault in the left-front wheel-speed-sensor wiring. CORRECTION Repair the left-front wheel-speed-sensor wiring, clear DTC C0035 06, and verify wheel-speed data and ABS operation.
2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid – Rough Running and Misfire After Air-Filter Service
CUSTOMER CONCERN The engine runs very poorly after air-filter service, pings under load, remains in open loop, and stores lean and misfire DTCs. CAUSE Inspection confirmed debris contamination on the mass-airflow sensor element, causing incorrect airflow measurement and the lean misfire. CORRECTION Clean the mass-airflow sensor element and air-filter housing, clear the DTCs, and verify closed-loop operation and normal engine performance.
2016 Buick LaCrosse – A/C Clutch Inoperative With U0164
CUSTOMER CONCERN The air-conditioning clutch will not engage, the K33 HVAC Control Module will not communicate, and the BCM stores DTC U0164. CAUSE Testing confirmed a lost power feed to the K33 HVAC Control Module, preventing module communication and A/C clutch operation. CORRECTION Repair the K33 HVAC Control Module power circuit, restore module communication, and verify A/C clutch operation.
2012 Buick Regal – Rough Running and Timing-Chain Rattle With P0011 and P0300
CUSTOMER CONCERN The engine runs rough with a timing-chain rattle and stores DTCs P0011 and P0300. CAUSE Diagnosis confirmed a worn timing chain as the source of the camshaft-timing fault, misfire, and rattle. CORRECTION Remove and replace the timing chain, clear DTCs, and verify smooth engine operation without timing-chain noise.
