2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid – No Crank After Engine Replacement

CUSTOMER CONCERN

The engine will not crank after engine replacement and DTCs P1B06, P1B05, and P1AE2 are stored.

CAUSE

Inspection confirmed the high-voltage battery disconnect lever was broken during the disconnect procedure, leaving the interlock circuit open.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the high-voltage battery disconnect lever, fully seat the interlock components, clear the DTCs, and verify the engine cranks.
