CUSTOMER CONCERN DTCs C0561, C0299, and C12FF set after sequential module programming. CAUSE The Electronic Brake Control Module learn procedures were not completed after programming. CORRECTION Perform the Electronic Brake Control Module relearn procedures specified by PIT4967A, clear C0561, C0299, and C12FF, and verify brake-system operation.
2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Hybrid – Service Hybrid System Message and No SDGM Communication
CUSTOMER CONCERN The Service Hybrid System message is displayed, the Serial Data Gateway Module does not communicate, and DTC B1000 is stored. CAUSE Power and ground load tests passed, confirming an internal failure of the Serial Data Gateway Module. CORRECTION Remove and replace the Serial Data Gateway Module, program and configure the replacement module, clear B1000, and verify hybrid-system communication.
2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid – Overheating After Radiator Repair
CUSTOMER CONCERN The engine overheats after collision-related radiator replacement and stores DTC P1285. CAUSE The confirmed repair identified a failed engine water pump; multiple exact-vehicle fixes replaced the pump for this overheating condition. CORRECTION Remove and replace the engine water pump, refill and bleed the cooling system, clear P1285, and verify normal engine temperature.
2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Hybrid – Engine Misfire With P0300
CUSTOMER CONCERN The engine misfires and stores DTC P0300, with the misfire isolated to one cylinder. CAUSE Swapping the spark plug and wire moved the misfire to another cylinder, confirming failed ignition secondary components. CORRECTION Remove and replace the spark plugs and spark-plug wires, clear DTC P0300, and verify the misfire is eliminated.
2012 Ford Focus Electric – Intermittent No Ready Mode

2012 Chevrolet Volt – No Start or Electric Propulsion With P0A0C
CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle will not start or move under electric power after transmission work and stores DTCs P0A0C and P1E00. CAUSE The power-inverter-module cable cover did not complete the high-voltage interlock circuit because it was missing, damaged, or incorrectly seated. CORRECTION Remove and replace the power-inverter-module cable cover, seat the high-voltage interlock connector correctly, clear P0A0C and P1E00, and verify Ready mode and propulsion.
2012 Chevrolet Volt – Service High Voltage Charging System With P1FFD and P1FFF
CUSTOMER CONCERN The Service High Voltage Charging System message is displayed with DTCs P1FFD and P1FFF. CAUSE Graphing the battery coolant-level-sensor circuit showed intermittent voltage spikes to 5 volts instead of the normal 3.5 volts, confirming a sensor-harness fault. CORRECTION Remove and replace the drive-motor battery coolant-level sensor harness, program the HPCM2 and BECM updates supported by the repair, clear P1FFD and P1FFF, and verify charging-system operation.
