2012 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid – No Crank and Dark Instrument Cluster

CUSTOMER CONCERN

The vehicle will not crank, the instrument cluster remains dark, and DTCs U0155 and P1260 are stored.

CAUSE

Cluster power, ground, and high-speed CAN circuits were intact, confirming an internal instrument-cluster failure that disabled the PATS start authorization.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the instrument cluster, clear U0155 and P1260, and verify cluster communication and starting operation.
