CUSTOMER CONCERN

The air-conditioning clutch will not engage, the K33 HVAC Control Module will not communicate, and the BCM stores DTC U0164.

CAUSE

Testing confirmed a lost power feed to the K33 HVAC Control Module, preventing module communication and A/C clutch operation.

CORRECTION

Repair the K33 HVAC Control Module power circuit, restore module communication, and verify A/C clutch operation.
