CUSTOMER CONCERN The electric brake system stores DTC C1A61-01 for the brake-motor power supply. CAUSE A warped retaining tab at the battery fusible-link connector allowed the brake-motor power circuit to lose contact. CORRECTION Repair and reshape the damaged connector retaining tab at the battery fusible-link assembly, clear DTC C1A61-01, and verify brake-system operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The fuel-pump nozzle repeatedly shuts off while refueling, making the tank difficult to fill. CAUSE The canister vent solenoid remained restricted and prevented the fuel tank from venting through the EVAP canister during refueling. CORRECTION Remove and replace the restricted canister vent solenoid.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The 12-volt battery is discharged by morning because of an overnight parasitic draw. CAUSE A leaking sunroof drain hose allowed water into the body control module, causing internal corrosion and the electrical draw. CORRECTION Remove and replace the corroded body control module and repair the leaking sunroof drain hose.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The fuel tank is difficult to fill and DTC P04B4 indicates the refueling vapor valve is stuck closed. CAUSE The normally closed EVAP canister vent solenoid remained stuck shut when commanded open, preventing vapor from leaving the tank during refueling. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed EVAP canister vent solenoid.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Wall charging is inoperative, the cooling fan and charge-port light ring do not operate when plugged in, and DTC P0C2A resets immediately after clearing. CAUSE The transmission-fluid auxiliary-pump circuits passed testing, confirming an internal pump failure. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed transmission-fluid auxiliary pump.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The right turn signal remains on whenever the ignition is on, while the left signal does not respond to the multifunction switch but does flash with the hazard switch; SCCM DTC B1D36:09 returns immediately. CAUSE SCCM switch data changed to OFF when the multifunction switch was removed, confirming an internal switch failure. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed multifunction switch.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The malfunction indicator lamp is on with DTC P0401 for insufficient EGR flow. CAUSE The EGR cooler was restricted and could not provide the commanded exhaust-gas flow. CORRECTION Remove and replace the restricted EGR cooler.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The IHKA heating and air-conditioning system is inoperative and multiple IHKA faults are stored. CAUSE The heat-pump control module failed after the related sensor, shutoff-valve, and wiring checks. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed heat-pump control module, then program and code the replacement module to the vehicle.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The check-engine light returns with DTC P219A for a bank-one air/fuel imbalance, but the vehicle has no obvious drivability complaint and prior plug and vacuum-leak checks found no fault. CAUSE Restricted EGR passages in the intake manifold created uneven exhaust-gas distribution between cylinders. CORRECTION Remove the intake manifold and EGR tube, clean the restricted EGR passages, and replace the intake-manifold gaskets as documented in the confirmed repai

CUSTOMER CONCERN After an extended drive, the warning light returns with DTCs P0117, P148F, and P261B even though the engine-coolant level is full and the system has been bled. CAUSE The engine electric water pump failed to maintain commanded rotation speed despite the supported power, ground, and control/feedback circuit checks. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed engine electric water pump.
