2016 Toyota Prius V Five – Check Engine Light With P219A

CUSTOMER CONCERN
The check-engine light returns with DTC P219A for a bank-one air/fuel imbalance, but the vehicle has no obvious drivability complaint and prior plug and vacuum-leak checks found no fault.
CAUSE
Restricted EGR passages in the intake manifold created uneven exhaust-gas distribution between cylinders.
CORRECTION
Remove the intake manifold and EGR tube, clean the restricted EGR passages, and replace the intake-manifold gaskets as documented in the confirmed repair.
