CUSTOMER CONCERN

The electric brake system stores DTC C1A61-01 for the brake-motor power supply.

CAUSE

A warped retaining tab at the battery fusible-link connector allowed the brake-motor power circuit to lose contact.

CORRECTION

Repair and reshape the damaged connector retaining tab at the battery fusible-link assembly, clear DTC C1A61-01, and verify brake-system operation.
