2013 Honda Civic Hybrid – A/C Compressor Does Not Engage
CUSTOMER CONCERN The A/C compressor does not engage. CAUSE The compressor/clutch assembly failed after the clutch power circuit, A/C request data, thermal protector, evaporator-temperature input, ambient-temperature input, and blower operation were checked. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed A/C compressor and clutch assembly, recharge the refrigerant system, and verify compressor engagement and normal cabin cooling.
2014 Ford Fusion SE Hybrid – A/C Inoperative With P0532
CUSTOMER CONCERN The A/C compressor does not run and DTC P0532 resets each time the vehicle is switched on. CAUSE The A/C pressure transducer was internally shorted after circuit testing distinguished the sensor from its PCM wiring. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed A/C pressure transducer, clear DTC P0532, and verify the compressor receives an enable command and the A/C system cools normally.
2014 BMW i8 – No Start After Engine Replacement With 21F0DF and 21F28A
CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle will not start after engine replacement and stores high-voltage interlock DTCs 21F0DF and 21F28A. CAUSE A required high-voltage interlock switch was missing, leaving the safety interlock loop open. CORRECTION Install the missing high-voltage interlock switch, clear DTCs 21F0DF and 21F28A, and verify interlock-loop integrity and normal vehicle startup.
2013 Audi Q5 Hybrid – No Cabin Heat With P00B7
CUSTOMER CONCERN Cabin heat is inoperative and intermittent DTC 15470/P00B7-00 indicates insufficient engine-coolant flow. CAUSE The N82 coolant shut-off valve failed to respond despite 12-volt power at T2jk pin 1 and an ECM-commanded ground at pin 2, restricting coolant flow through the heater core. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed N82 coolant shut-off valve, refill and bleed the cooling system, clear DTC 15470/P00B7-00, and verify heater-core flow and normal cabin h
2013 Toyota Prius V Five – Will Not Accept Fuel With Multiple EVAP Codes
CUSTOMER CONCERN The fuel tank will not accept fuel and DTCs P043E, P043F, P2401, P2402, and P2419 return after EVAP pump-module replacement. CAUSE Dust from gravel-road operation restricted the EVAP canister fresh-air vent tube and contaminated the canister. CORRECTION Clean the restricted EVAP canister vent tube, remove and replace the contaminated canister as required, clear DTCs P043E, P043F, P2401, P2402, and P2419, and verify normal refueling and EVAP monitor operation.
2013 Toyota Prius C – P0012 After Head Gasket Repair
CUSTOMER CONCERN DTC P0012 sets after cylinder-head-gasket replacement. CAUSE The intake variable-valve-timing cam phaser was inadvertently locked during installation, preventing normal commanded camshaft advance and retard. CORRECTION Remove and replace the locked intake VVT gear/cam phaser, set camshaft timing correctly, clear DTC P0012, and verify the engine responds normally to the VVT active test.
2012 Toyota Prius C One – Brake Pedal Goes to Floor With C1246
CUSTOMER CONCERN The brake pedal drops to the floor and remains low after repeated bleeding attempts, with DTC C1246 stored. CAUSE Blocking the master-cylinder outlets and the hydraulic noise at the master cylinder isolated an internal brake master-cylinder failure rather than residual air alone. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed brake master cylinder, perform the complete Prius brake air-bleed procedure, reset ABS memory and required initialization, clear DTC C1246, a
2012 Toyota Prius C Two – SRS Light With B1782 and B1650
CUSTOMER CONCERN The SRS warning lamp is on with DTCs B1782 and B1650. CAUSE Scan-data seat-weight values isolated a failed left-rear occupant-classification sensor in the passenger seat assembly. CORRECTION Remove and replace the passenger-seat assembly containing the failed occupant-classification sensor, perform occupant-classification zero-point calibration, clear DTCs B1782 and B1650, and verify the SRS warning lamp remains off.
2014 Toyota Prius C Four – No READY Mode and Inoperative Door Locks With U0142
CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle will not enter READY mode, DTC U0142 is stored, the dash lamps dim when the brake pedal is pressed, and the remote door locks do not operate. CAUSE The 12-volt auxiliary battery was weak; applying external 12-volt support restored the door locks and allowed the vehicle to enter READY mode. CORRECTION Remove and replace the weak 12-volt auxiliary battery, clear DTC U0142, and verify READY-mode engagement, stable dash illumination, and remote door-l
2012 Toyota Prius Two – Inverter Cooling Codes P0A93 and P0C73
CUSTOMER CONCERN After collision repairs, DTCs P0A93 and P0C73 are stored and the inverter cooling system is empty. CAUSE The inverter coolant level was left low after collision repair, allowing air into the inverter cooling circuit and preventing normal coolant-pump performance. CORRECTION Refill and bleed the inverter cooling system with a compatible scan tool, clear DTCs P0A93 and P0C73, and verify inverter-coolant-pump speed and coolant circulation.
