2014 Ford Fusion SE Hybrid – A/C Inoperative With P0532

CUSTOMER CONCERN

The A/C compressor does not run and DTC P0532 resets each time the vehicle is switched on.

CAUSE

The A/C pressure transducer was internally shorted after circuit testing distinguished the sensor from its PCM wiring.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the failed A/C pressure transducer, clear DTC P0532, and verify the compressor receives an enable command and the A/C system cools normally.
