2020 Lincoln Aviator – Suspension Faults C1124:54 and B1041:52 After Collision Repair

  • Aug 17
  • 1 min read

CUSTOMER CONCERN

After right-front collision repairs and replacement of the right-front air spring, height sensor, and compressor, DTCs C1124:54 and B1041:52 return because the height-sensor calibration will not remain stored.

CAUSE

The confirmed repair identified a failed Air Suspension Control Module A (SUMA) that could not retain the height-sensor calibration after its power and ground circuits tested correctly.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the failed Air Suspension Control Module A (SUMA), program the replacement module, perform the height-sensor calibration, clear DTCs C1124:54 and B1041:52, and verify suspension operation.
