CUSTOMER CONCERN

The electric parking brake is stuck on or will not apply, with a parking-brake motor circuit fault.

CAUSE

The confirmed repair found the parking-brake motor connector terminals reversed, causing the motor to run in the wrong direction.

CORRECTION

Correct the parking-brake motor connector terminal positions, clear the parking-brake fault, and verify normal apply and release operation.
