CUSTOMER CONCERN

The check-engine light is on and fault 21B000 is stored for the fuel-tank pressure-sensor communication circuit.

CAUSE

The fuel-tank pressure sensor failed and stopped communicating on its Local Interconnect Network circuit.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the failed fuel-tank pressure sensor, clear fault 21B000, and verify pressure-sensor communication and emissions-system operation.
