2019 Toyota Prius Prime Premium – Parking Assist Faults C1AEC and C1AEE

CUSTOMER CONCERN
After front-end collision repairs and replacement of the front bumper sensors, the parking-assist system stores DTCs C1AEC and C1AEE.
CAUSE
The replacement ultrasonic parking sensors had not completed detection-angle calibration and registration after the collision repair.
CORRECTION
Perform the ultrasonic sensor detection-angle procedures and intelligent-clearance sonar registration, clear DTCs C1AEC and C1AEE, and verify parking-assist operation.
