2012 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid – Radio Controls Inoperative With U0184

CUSTOMER CONCERN
The radio controls are inoperative, the Audio Control Module will not communicate, and the other audio modules store DTC U0184.
CAUSE
Power, ground, and CAN-network circuits tested correctly, confirming an internal failure of the Audio Control Module.
CORRECTION
Remove and replace the Audio Control Module, program the replacement module as required, clear U0184, and verify radio-control and audio operation.
