CUSTOMER CONCERN The ABS and brake warning lights are on, DTC C1391 is stored, and the ABS pump cycles as accumulator pressure falls. CAUSE Accumulator-pressure testing confirmed internal leakage in the ABS brake actuator assembly. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed ABS brake actuator assembly. Perform the required actuator initialization.
2010 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited – Brake Warning Lights and Will Not Move
CUSTOMER CONCERN The ABS, brake, and traction-control warning lights remain on, and the vehicle will not move. CAUSE The 12-volt battery dropped to approximately 7 volts with the ignition on, confirming the battery could not support vehicle-system operation. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed 12-volt battery.
2010 Toyota Highlander Hybrid – No Start After 12-Volt Battery Replacement
CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle will not start after replacement of a weak 12-volt battery. The brake lamps are inoperative, and the skid-control and engine modules will not communicate. CAUSE Power-distribution testing confirmed the 140-amp DC-DC fuse in the engine-compartment fuse box was open. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed 140-amp DC-DC fuse.
2010 Toyota Camry Hybrid – Hybrid Battery Fault With P0A80
CUSTOMER CONCERN The hybrid warning is on, and DTC P0A80 is stored. CAUSE Battery-block voltage testing confirmed excessive voltage variation caused by deterioration inside the high-voltage battery pack. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed high-voltage hybrid battery pack.
2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid – Low Power With P0A0F and P3190
CUSTOMER CONCERN The engine has low power, and DTCs P0A0F and P3190 are stored. CAUSE Fuel-pressure testing showed pressure dropping under load even though battery voltage remained available to the fuel pump on the gray supply wire, confirming a failed fuel pump. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed fuel pump.
2010 Nissan Altima Hybrid – Intermittent No Start and Brake Lamps Inoperative
CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle intermittently will not start, and the brake lamps are intermittently inoperative. CAUSE Voltage testing at the four-terminal brake-light switch confirmed the switch failed to provide a consistent output signal. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed brake-light switch.
2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid – Power Loss and No Start With P0A0A
CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle loses power, displays a pull-over warning, and will not restart. DTC P0A0A is stored in the hybrid control system. CAUSE Testing confirmed a failed traction-battery harness in the high-voltage interlock circuit. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed traction-battery harness.
2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid – A/C Inoperative With B1B71:15
CUSTOMER CONCERN The air conditioning does not operate, and the HVAC module stores DTC B1B71:15. CAUSE The HVAC module detected the evaporator-temperature-sensor signal above 4.5 volts, and testing confirmed a failed A/C evaporator core discharge temperature sensor. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed A/C evaporator core discharge temperature sensor.
2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid – Low-Beam Headlamps Flicker
CUSTOMER CONCERN The low-beam headlamps flicker, while the high beams operate normally. No Smart Junction Box DTCs are stored. CAUSE Inspection confirmed a failed connection at the low-beam headlamp assembly connector. CORRECTION Repair the failed low-beam headlamp connector and terminal connection.
2010 Mercury Milan Hybrid – No Start With U0111 and U0294
CUSTOMER CONCERN The engine will not start after front-bumper-cover installation, and DTCs U0111 and U0294 return each time the key is switched on. CAUSE Network inspection confirmed a fault at the powertrain control module connector in the front-bumper-area high-speed CAN circuit. CORRECTION Repair the failed powertrain control module connector and terminal connection.
