CUSTOMER CONCERN

The vehicle intermittently will not start, and the brake lamps are intermittently inoperative.

CAUSE

Voltage testing at the four-terminal brake-light switch confirmed the switch failed to provide a consistent output signal.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the failed brake-light switch.
