CUSTOMER CONCERN The check engine light is on with oxygen-sensor circuit DTC P0136 stored. CAUSE Circuit, fuel-trim, and exhaust-leak checks confirmed a failed rear oxygen sensor at Bank 1 Sensor 2; the hybrid-control calibration also required the applicable update. CORRECTION Remove and replace the Bank 1 Sensor 2 oxygen sensor, then update the Hybrid Vehicle Control ECU with the applicable calibration.
2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid – Check Engine and Hybrid Lights With P0A80
CUSTOMER CONCERN The check engine and hybrid warning lights are on with DTC P0A80 stored. CAUSE Battery-block voltage testing confirmed excessive voltage variation caused by deterioration inside the high-voltage battery pack. CORRECTION Remove and replace the high-voltage hybrid battery pack.
2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid – Inverter Cooling Fault With P0A93-346
CUSTOMER CONCERN The hybrid warning light is on with inverter-cooling DTC P0A93-346 stored. CAUSE The inverter coolant reservoir was full, but active testing confirmed that the inverter water pump was not circulating coolant. CORRECTION Remove and replace the inverter water pump. Refill and bleed the inverter cooling circuit.
2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid – No Ready Light With P0A0D
CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle will not crank or enter READY mode after collision repair, and DTC P0A0D is stored. CAUSE Interlock-circuit testing confirmed that the battery service-plug interlock switch was not completing the required ground path. CORRECTION Remove and replace the battery service-plug interlock switch and fully seat the high-voltage service plug.
2009 Nissan Altima Hybrid – Check Engine Light With P0448
CUSTOMER CONCERN The check engine light is on with DTC P0448 stored. CAUSE Command testing of the EVAP vent valve and its external filter confirmed that the canister vent-control valve was stuck closed. CORRECTION Remove and replace the EVAP canister vent-control valve.
2009 Mercury Mariner Hybrid – No Throttle Response With P2112
CUSTOMER CONCERN Accelerator pedal input produces no throttle response, and DTC P2112 is stored. CAUSE Throttle-plate inspection and circuit testing confirmed an internally sticking electronic throttle body. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed electronic throttle-body assembly.
2009 Ford Escape Limited Hybrid – ABS and Traction Lights With C1018
CUSTOMER CONCERN The ABS and traction-control warning lights remain on, and DTC C1018 will not clear. CAUSE The brake-control calibration was incomplete, leaving the ABS module without the required learned values. CORRECTION Perform the factory scan-tool brake and ABS relearn procedure.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The check engine light is on with EVAP leak DTC P0457 stored. CAUSE EVAP pressure and leak testing confirmed a leaking canister purge valve that would not seal correctly. CORRECTION Remove and replace the EVAP canister purge valve.
2009 Mazda Tribute Hybrid – A/C Compressor Cycles Off With No Codes
CUSTOMER CONCERN The air-conditioning compressor disengages after several seconds, remains off for several minutes, then briefly cycles on again. No DTCs are stored. CAUSE Evaporator-temperature input testing confirmed a defective Air Conditioning Evaporator Core Discharge Temperature sensor. CORRECTION Remove and replace the evaporator-core discharge-temperature sensor.
2009 Honda Civic Hybrid – Runs Rough With P0339
CUSTOMER CONCERN The engine intermittently runs rough and has low power with DTC P0339 stored. CAUSE Power, ground, signal-circuit, and pattern checks confirmed an intermittent crankshaft-position sensor failure. CORRECTION Remove and replace the crankshaft-position sensor, then perform the crankshaft-pattern clear and relearn.
