CUSTOMER CONCERN The check engine light is on with catalyst-efficiency DTC P0420 stored. CAUSE Fuel-trim, exhaust-leak, and oxygen-sensor checks confirmed that the catalytic converter was no longer operating efficiently. CORRECTION Remove and replace the catalytic converter.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The engine idles too high after throttle-body cleaning, and DTC P0507 may return intermittently. CAUSE The throttle-position learned value was not reset after service, leaving the idle control strategy out of calibration. CORRECTION Reset the throttle-position learned value and perform the idle relearn procedure.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The check engine, brake, TPMS, IMA, and stability-control warning lights come on when engine-compartment temperature rises; the vehicle operates normally when cold. CAUSE Heat testing confirmed an internal temperature-sensitive failure in the Powertrain Control Module. CORRECTION Remove and replace the Powertrain Control Module.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The check engine and IMA warning lights are on with DTC P0A7F stored. CAUSE Battery-module testing and the applicable Honda bulletin confirmed deterioration inside the high-voltage IMA battery. CORRECTION Remove and replace the high-voltage IMA battery, then update the Motor Control Module with the applicable calibration.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The oil-pressure warning light comes on while the engine is running, and DTC P0521 is stored. CAUSE Pressure comparison and circuit checks confirmed a failed engine oil-pressure sending switch. CORRECTION Remove and replace the engine oil-pressure sending switch.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The Reduced Engine Power and Traction Off messages are displayed, and DTC P2135 is stored. CAUSE Throttle-position signal testing and the applicable service coverage confirmed a failed throttle-position sensor cover assembly. CORRECTION Remove and replace the throttle-position sensor cover, then program the Engine Control Module with the applicable calibration.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The check engine light is on with DTCs P0AC4 and P183E stored. CAUSE Transmission range data confirmed an internal mode switch that did not report the selected gear range correctly. CORRECTION Remove and replace the transmission internal mode switch.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The oil-pressure warning light comes on while the engine is running, and DTC P0521 is stored. CAUSE Mechanical and scan-data checks confirmed a failed engine oil-pressure sending switch rather than a loss of indicated pressure elsewhere in the circuit. CORRECTION Remove and replace the engine oil-pressure sending switch.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The ABS warning light is on with DTC C1015-64 stored. CAUSE Testing confirmed a failed brake-booster vacuum check valve that prevented the system from developing the required vacuum. CORRECTION Remove and replace the brake-booster vacuum check valve.

CUSTOMER CONCERN The Stop Safely Now message and hybrid warning lights appear intermittently, and the transmission will not shift out of Park. DTC P2800 is stored. CAUSE Moisture intrusion at connector C210 caused the confirmed electrical connection fault. CORRECTION Repair the moisture-damaged terminals and connections at connector C210, and secure the affected firewall entry point against further water intrusion.
