2006 Ford Escape Hybrid – Stop Safely Warning While Driving

CUSTOMER CONCERN

The Stop Safely warning appeared while driving, with DTCs P0A27 and P1A10 stored even though the fault could not be duplicated in the shop.

CAUSE

The confirmed fault was in the high-voltage traction-battery internal harness and its calibration.

CORRECTION

A jumper harness was installed inside the high-voltage battery assembly and the battery control calibration was updated.
