CUSTOMER CONCERN

The check engine light is on with catalyst-efficiency DTC P0420 stored.

CAUSE

Fuel-trim, exhaust-leak, and oxygen-sensor checks confirmed that the catalytic converter was no longer operating efficiently.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the catalytic converter.
