CUSTOMER CONCERN

The oil-pressure warning light comes on while the engine is running, and DTC P0521 is stored.

CAUSE

Mechanical and scan-data checks confirmed a failed engine oil-pressure sending switch rather than a loss of indicated pressure elsewhere in the circuit.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the engine oil-pressure sending switch.
