2017 Toyota Camry Hybrid LE – Intermittent No Ready Mode With No DTCs

  • Aug 17
  • 1 min read

CUSTOMER CONCERN

The vehicle intermittently will not enter Ready mode even though the instrument cluster illuminates. Cycling the start switch four or five times eventually allows it to start, and no DTCs are stored.

CAUSE

The confirmed repair identified a failed high-voltage battery pack as the source of the intermittent no-Ready condition.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the failed high-voltage battery pack and verify the vehicle enters Ready mode consistently through repeated start cycles.
