CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle intermittently will not enter Ready mode even though the instrument cluster illuminates. Cycling the start switch four or five times eventually allows it to start, and no DTCs are stored. CUSTOMER CONCERN Customer states the vehicle will not start and the READY indicator does not illuminate after the high-voltage battery service plug was removed during maintenance. CAUSE Inspection confirmed the battery service plug was not fully installed and locked, leaving the high-voltage interlock open. CORRECTION Install the high-voltage battery service plug, move its lever fully to the left and engage the lock securely.
