2015 Ford Fusion SE Hybrid – ABS Light With C101C

CUSTOMER CONCERN

ABS warning is on and the ABS module stores DTC C101C.

CAUSE

The brake booster vacuum pump failed and connector C1035A pin 5 had a loose, heat-damaged terminal that prevented pump operation after replacement.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the brake booster vacuum pump, repair connector C1035A terminal 5, clear DTC C101C, and verify vacuum-pump and brake-system operation.
