CUSTOMER CONCERN ABS warning is on and the ABS module stores DTC C101C. CAUSE The brake booster vacuum pump failed and connector C1035A pin 5 had a loose, heat-damaged terminal that prevented pump operation after replacement. CORRECTION Remove and replace the brake booster vacuum pump, repair connector C1035A terminal 5, clear DTC C101C, and verify vacuum-pump and brake-system operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Brake warning is displayed and the brake pedal is hard to apply. CAUSE DTC C101C was present, and testing confirmed the brake-booster vacuum pump had failed. CORRECTION Remove and replace the failed brake-booster vacuum pump.
