CUSTOMER CONCERN

The hybrid starter-generator locks up and damages the drive belt.

CAUSE

The hybrid starter-generator pulley could not be rotated by hand, confirming the starter-generator assembly was mechanically seized.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the seized hybrid starter-generator and damaged drive belt, then verify the pulley rotates freely and the hybrid starting system operates normally.
