2014 Ford C-Max Hybrid SE – Stop Safely Now With P1A10

CUSTOMER CONCERN

The engine will not crank, a Stop Safely Now message is displayed, and DTCs P0B37, P1A10, and P0A0A are stored.

CAUSE

The high-voltage battery service disconnect was not fully seated and latched, leaving the interlock circuit open.

CORRECTION

Disable the high-voltage system as required, fully seat and latch the high-voltage battery service disconnect, clear DTCs P0B37, P1A10, and P0A0A, and verify READY mode and hybrid-system operation.
