CUSTOMER CONCERN

The engine stalled and will not crank or restart. The Service Hybrid System message is displayed, and Battery Energy Control Module DTC P0BBD is stored.

CAUSE

Hybrid-battery testing confirmed the drive-motor battery assembly could no longer maintain the required operating voltage.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the failed drive-motor battery assembly.
