CUSTOMER CONCERN

Customer states the engine will not crank or start. No DTCs are stored and the theft indicator proves out normally.

CAUSE

Ignition-switch circuit testing confirmed the steering-column lock module was preventing the start command.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace steering-column lock module. Verify normal key operation and engine starting.
