CUSTOMER CONCERN

Customer states the vehicle will not enter READY mode or crank after collision damage. DTC P0A0D is stored.

CAUSE

The hybrid ECU did not receive the required ground through the high-voltage interlock circuit, confirming an open battery service-plug interlock switch.

CORRECTION

Secure or remove and replace battery service plug interlock as required. Clear DTC P0A0D and verify READY-mode operation.
