CUSTOMER CONCERN

Multiple-cylinder misfire codes were recorded even though the engine ran smoothly and no actual misfire was felt.

CAUSE

The PCM calibration was falsely detecting misfires.

CORRECTION

The PCM was reprogrammed and the crankshaft-position sensor learn procedure was performed.
