CUSTOMER CONCERN

After a front brake hose was replaced, the brake pedal remained low and DTC C1525 set.

CAUSE

Air remained trapped in the electronically controlled hydraulic brake system because the hybrid-specific service bleed had not been completed.

CORRECTION

The full ABS service-bleed procedure was carried out with a compatible scan tool and pressure-bleeding equipment.
