2014 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid Sport – Driver-Side A/C Warmer Than Passenger Side

CUSTOMER CONCERN
The driver-side vents remain warmer than the passenger-side vents even with the driver air-mix door commanded fully cold.
CAUSE
The A/C evaporator core leaked refrigerant; the recovered charge was only 0.3 lb and the air-mix door operated normally.
CORRECTION
Remove and replace the leaking A/C evaporator core, evacuate and recharge the refrigerant system to specification, and verify balanced cold-air temperature from both sides.
