CUSTOMER CONCERN

Deck lid will not release from the interior switch or key fob; no BCM DTCs are stored.

CAUSE

Confirmed open circuit in the M40 rear compartment lid latch wiring between connector X900 pin 16 and the latch on the dark blue/yellow wire.

CORRECTION

Repair the open M40 rear compartment lid latch circuit and verify trunk release from the interior switch and key fob.
