CUSTOMER CONCERN

The airbag warning light stays on, and the Sensing and Diagnostic Module stores DTCs B0085 and B0086.

CAUSE

Inspection confirmed the purple/white and white wires for the left-front Side Impact Sensor were broken in the driver-door jamb.

CORRECTION

Repair the broken left-front Side Impact Sensor circuits in the driver-door jamb.
