2010 Toyota Prius – No Start With P0A0D

CUSTOMER CONCERN

The engine will not start after installation of an auxiliary battery pack, and DTC P0A0D is stored.

CAUSE

Inspection confirmed the high-voltage battery service-plug grip was not fully seated and locked, leaving the interlock circuit open.

CORRECTION

Remove and correctly reinstall the high-voltage battery service-plug grip, then fully engage its locking lever.
