2014 Toyota Prius V – No READY Mode With P0A09 P0A0D and U0110
CUSTOMER CONCERN After engine replacement, the vehicle will not enter READY mode and stores DTCs P0A09, P0A0D, and U0110. CAUSE An inverter-with-converter electrical connector was not fully seated after the engine service, opening the high-voltage interlock and converter communication circuits. CORRECTION Fully seat and lock the inverter-with-converter connector, clear DTCs P0A09, P0A0D, and U0110, and verify READY mode, converter communication, and hybrid-system operation.
2012 Toyota Prius C Four – No READY Mode With P0A0D
CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle will not enter READY mode and DTC P0A0D is stored. CAUSE The high-voltage battery service grip plug was connected but not fully seated and locked; the Light Green interlock wire measured 11.7 volts while the White/Black ground was good. CORRECTION Fully seat and lock the high-voltage battery service grip plug, clear P0A0D, and verify the Light Green interlock circuit drops to approximately 2.7 mV and the vehicle enters READY mode.
2012 Lexus CT200h – No Ready Mode With P0A0D
CUSTOMER CONCERN The vehicle will not enter READY mode after collision repairs and P0A0D returns after clearing. CAUSE The HV battery service plug was inserted but not moved fully into its locked position, leaving the high-voltage interlock circuit open. CORRECTION Seat and lock the HV battery service plug correctly, clear P0A0D, and verify the vehicle enters READY mode.
2010 Toyota Prius – No Start With P0A0D
CUSTOMER CONCERN The engine will not start after installation of an auxiliary battery pack, and DTC P0A0D is stored. CAUSE Inspection confirmed the high-voltage battery service-plug grip was not fully seated and locked, leaving the interlock circuit open. CORRECTION Remove and correctly reinstall the high-voltage battery service-plug grip, then fully engage its locking lever.
