CUSTOMER CONCERN

Electric steering assist is excessive when turning left and requires unusually high effort when turning right.

CAUSE

Torque-sensor data read approximately -2.5 at center, -3.1 while turning left, and 0.6–1.7 while turning right, confirming an incorrect torque-sensor zero point.

CORRECTION

Perform the electric power-steering torque-sensor zero-point calibration and verify balanced steering assist.
