2008 Honda Civic Hybrid – A/C Inoperative With B2992

CUSTOMER CONCERN

Air conditioning is inoperative and DTC B2992 returns after clearing.

CAUSE

The climate-control panel had already been replaced, and testing of the Blue/Red and Red circuits from the compressor to climate-control-panel pins B11 and B12 confirmed the air-conditioning compressor had failed.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the failed air-conditioning compressor.
