CUSTOMER CONCERN

Customer states the brake pedal remains low after front brake-hose replacement and DTC C1525 is stored.

CAUSE

Air remained trapped in the electronically controlled hydraulic brake system because the required hybrid service-bleed routine had not been completed.

CORRECTION

Perform complete ABS service-bleed procedure with a compatible scan tool and pressure bleeder. Clear DTC C1525.
