CAUSE L-terminal command and Orange-wire voltage testing confirmed the control circuit was operating but the alternator did not respond correctly, identifying an internal alternator failure. CORRECTION Remove and replace alternator. Clear DTC P0621 and verify charging-system output and L-terminal command response.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Customer states the traction-control warning light comes on intermittently. EBCM DTC C0561-71 is stored. CAUSE Traction-control switch input testing on the Brown/White circuit 1571 isolated an intermittent terminal connection at the traction-control switch connector. CORRECTION Clean and repair traction-control switch connector terminals, clear DTC C0561-71 and verify the BCM switch input remains in the enabled state.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Customer states the vehicle was parked for approximately two months and now stores DTCs P0AFB, P1A22, P1A26 and P1A29. CAUSE Campaign inspection confirmed the hybrid battery pack had failed after the extended storage period. CORRECTION Remove and replace hybrid battery pack under the applicable campaign. Clear hybrid-system DTCs and verify battery-system operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Customer states the check-engine light is on. DTCs P0013 and P0014 are stored. CAUSE Resistance testing found the exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid outside the specified 5–9 ohm range, confirming solenoid failure. CORRECTION Remove and replace exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid. Clear DTCs and verify camshaft timing operation.

CUSTOMER CONCERN Customer states the vehicle surges during acceleration and the drive belt chatters when the engine is revved. CAUSE Inspection confirmed a worn serpentine belt and worn belt tensioner that could not maintain correct belt control. CORRECTION Remove and replace serpentine belt and belt tensioner.
