CUSTOMER CONCERN

Customer states the malfunction indicator light is on. EVAP small-leak DTC P0456 is stored.

CAUSE

Smoke testing with a soapy-water check confirmed a crack in the plastic fuel-pump housing below the retaining ring.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the fuel-pump assembly.
