CUSTOMER CONCERN

The airbag warning light remains on and the K36 Sensing and Diagnostic Module stores DTC B101D.

CAUSE

DTC B101D was confirmed as an internal fault in the K36 Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module rather than an external circuit failure.

CORRECTION

Remove and replace the K36 Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module, then program and configure the replacement module.
