CUSTOMER CONCERN

After engine installation, the engine runs only while a scan tool is connected and DTCs P0032, C1259, C1310, and U0100 are present.

CAUSE

The D1 engine-control-module ground at the valve cover was loose, interrupting the ECM ground path.

CORRECTION

Tighten and secure the D1 ECM ground connection at the valve cover.
